It is made to perfect precision. It operates when the pressure reaches 1 Kg/Sq Cm. and emits whistles, which are loud and clear.
- Vent Pipe :
It is made of stainless steel and its more long lasting and durable.
- Safety Valve :
It contains Special Fusible alloy which metls when the temperature / pressure rises beyond a safe level and lets out steam. It prevents cooker to blast when pressure increase beyond a safe level.

SARAL Silicon Gasket : SARAL has Silicon Gasket made of Special food grade Durasil Silicone Elastomer . This is synthetic rubber that is extremely durable and reliable with extremely high steam and temperature resistance properties. The gasket is designed not to age during its normal life unlike the normal nitrile (Black) rubber gaskets. The gasket if used and maintained properly, will never require any change for the life of the pressure cooker. The Gasket does not impart any color, taste or odor to the food in the cooker. In case there is steam escaping arounf the lid, a new gasket might have to be fitted. But, before replacing the gasket, please check if there are any nicks on the rim of the body which might be the cause of the leak. Please have the cooker checked at any of the saral authorized service center or regional service centers before replacing the gasket. Do not stretch the Gasket as it may weaken it.
